St. Cloud State University's Herberger College of Business MBA student, Steve Minkler, shares his musical talents with St. Cloud's Community Theatre. On July 22, 23, and 24, Steve will be playing piano in the 7:30 pm performances of Musical Theatre - a "coming of age" comical musical set in the 1950s which follows the Catholic education of eight Chicago children. The outdoor performances are at Lake George Park in St. Cloud - admission is free. Starting September 15 and running through October 10, Steve will be playing piano in the orchestra accompanying the production Jesus Christ Superstar being performed at the Pioneer Place on Fifth in St. Cloud. Evening performances begin at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 pm. Jesus Christ Superstar is a legendary rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Weber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It is one of the longest running musical productions in London theatre history. Jesus Christ Superstar is the largest production staged at the Pioneer Place to date. "The production features a cast of 22 along with a pit orchestra of eight including some of Central Minnesota's most popular musicians including...Steve Minkler...."
