Mathematics Placement Testing
Note: A student who is currently taking or has taken a math course may not retake a placement exam for a higher course placement. Once you are enrolled or have taken a math course a placement score will not allow you to change to a higher course.
A student may take a math placement test no more than twice in a 12 month period.

Future testing appointments should be arranged by calling the SCSU testing Coordinator at (320) 308 - 5697
NOTE: These appointments are NOT for students attending Advising Days.
Requirements
- Must have scheduled an appointment.
- Bring picture I.D.
- Arrive at least 5 minutes before testing time.
- The testing process will take approximately one hour - (Test itself is untimed).
- Calculators will not be used.
Test or sufficient Act math score required for STAT 193, 219, 229 and all entry level MATH classes.
