Company Overview:This internship is designed to provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain valuable sales experience in a fun and hard working professional baseball environment. The hours and hard work are expected to make for an easy transition into working in professional sports or any industry.
Responsibilities:Internship Requirements: • Must be a junior, senior or post graduate pursing a degree from an accredited college or university. • Minimum of 20 hours per week Compensation/Credit: • Credit, stipend, and commission Purpose: General support of all Ticket Sales department staff including, Group Sales, Season Ticket Sales & Service and Specialty Seating Sales. Primary Duties: • Assist in making 75 outbound tickets sales calls per day • Learn all aspects of the sales process • Opportunity to participate in sales training • Assist with administrative ticket database tasks • Help with ticket-related special events with Season Ticket Holders and ticket-buying prospects • Occasional off-site event responsibilities • Assist with ticket and promotional mailings • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Highly-motivated with a desire to pursue a career in professional sports • Excellent organization skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task • Working knowledge of MS Office software • Demonstrate a positive and personable demeanor • Ability to work some evenings • Ability to work individually, or as part of a group
