Company Overview:This internship is designed to provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain valuable sales experience in a fun and hard working professional baseball environment. The hours and hard work are expected to make for an easy transition into working in professional sports or any industry.

Responsibilities:Internship Requirements: Must be a junior, senior or post graduate pursing a degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 20 hours per week Compensation/Credit: Credit, stipend, and commission Purpose: General support of all Ticket Sales department staff including, Group Sales, Season Ticket Sales & Service and Specialty Seating Sales. Primary Duties: Assist in making 75 outbound tickets sales calls per day Learn all aspects of the sales process Opportunity to participate in sales training Assist with administrative ticket database tasks Help with ticket-related special events with Season Ticket Holders and ticket-buying prospects Occasional off-site event responsibilities Assist with ticket and promotional mailings Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Highly-motivated with a desire to pursue a career in professional sports Excellent organization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task Working knowledge of MS Office software Demonstrate a positive and personable demeanor Ability to work some evenings Ability to work individually, or as part of a group
