Responsibilities:Participate in off-campus recruitment events and emphasizes career-related programs • Provide advice and information for prospective students and assists in facilitating applications through the admissions process, beginning the relationship-building process • Provide individual appointments to prospective and new students • Maintains communication with current and prospective students through email, phone & letters • Coordinate, manage and implement on-campus visits and tours for high school and groups for Admissions & Outreach Office • Present public presentations • Assist with coordination and management of Outreach events included but not limited to: Information Nights/Days, Featured Information Nights, Family Information Sessions • Detailed data entry & database management through Hobsons (CRM) & ISRS (MnSCU database) • Coordinate and participate in telecommunication of prospective and admitted students Additional Responsibilities: • Asist Director with projects as needed • Assist in special programming: Youth Academy, STARS, PSEO, Student Ambassadors, Information Center as needed • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree (or expected completion by May 2011) • Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written and public speaking • Comfortable with technology • Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse populations • Capable of working independently and taking direction
