Responsibilities:Experience with excel, word, publisher and related computer programs. Organized, good problem solving skills, the want to give back to the community using own skills/talents. Objective 1: Develop a marketing plan for the Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota ReStore. Tasks: •Assess current marketing/advertising efforts at affiliate. •Research marketing plans from other ReStores of comparable size/service area. •Write a marketing plan specifically for the ReStore focusing on donors, volunteers, and customers utilizing researched best practices. •Present marketing plan to Fund Development and PR Committee with recommendations, timeline for implementation, and budget. Objective 2: Implement marketing plan. Tasks: •Create media set forth in marketing plan. •Distribute media according to marketing plan. •Measure success of marketing initiatives. Objective 3: Streamline current affiliate advertising efforts. Tasks: •Create a database of past mailings, meetings, PSAs, etc including: o Date initiated/terminated o Description of media or copy/link to media o Success of advertisement • Use the database to determine how best to proceed in the future. • Create advertisement and brochure templates that can be reused for future projects. Objective 4: Develop a timely donor and volunteer recognition system. Tasks: • Research current practices at affiliate and other affiliates of similar size/service area. • Rework/develop strategy for recognition. • Implement strategy. Work with VISTA ReStore Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Sustainability Coordinator on objectives.
