Responsibilities:Position Summary: ICW interns will collaborate with International Child Welfare Manager to produce online marketing materials for international humanitarian projects. Duties and responsibilities will be expanded commensurate with the number of hours per week, length of internship, and individual skills and experience. Time Commitment: To be determined; flexible, daytime scheduling; minimum of 3 month commitment, minimum of 5-10 hours per week Responsibilities: 1.Comply with all program policies and procedures of Children’s Home Society & Family Services 2.Respect and maintain confidentiality at all times. 3.Obtain/compile stories, photos, video and audio from international humanitarian projects 4.Prepare powerpoints, web and/or audio clips for ICW utilization (including YouTube videos) 5.Assist with meeting and marketing preparation 6.Help create and edit web, newsletter and marketing publications 7.Attend meetings as needed 8.Other duties commensurate with individual skills and experience Qualifications: 1. Ability to work as a team member and to accept responsibility 2. Ability to act independently and to seek consultation when needed 3. Understanding and acceptance of children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds 4. Familiarity with basic office equipment 5. Computer Competency; knowledge of video editing and social media required. Editing software provided or intern may use their own. 6. Attention to detail; ability to recognize, read and prepare documentation 7. Excellent interpersonal and creative skills 8. Good organization, oral & written communication skills 9.
