Company Overview:Llewellyn Worldwide, publisher of Mind, Body, Spirit titles in addition to our Midnight Ink (mystery) and Flux (young adult) imprints, is seeking an intern in our acquisitions department.

Responsibilities:This is a great opportunity for someone with editorial and/or journalism skill who wants to gain valuable hands-on experience in publishing. You’ll learn about the acquisitions process through assisting in reading and evaluating manuscripts, participating in meetings, entering and processing contracts, as well as updating sales figures to be used in title review consideration. The typical internship requires a commitment of 10 to 15 hours per week through the semester. The internship will be scheduled during operating hours—8 a.m. through 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
