Responsibilities:Design and facilitate various performing arts programs and activities using BGCA’s DramaMatters curriculum and other curriculum available. • Integrate cultural elements into programs. • Participate in programs interacting with youth and staff. • Promote and stimulate interest in and participation in program activities by both members and volunteers. • Assist with collaborative projects with schools and other community partners to provide a variety of arts programming. • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and willing to seek new ideas. • Update and add to curriculum in Club’s Resource library. • Will know and use positive youth guidance techniques including, but not limited to, positive role modeling and positive discipline. • Work to achieve the mission of the organization. *** Interns may be eligible for a stipend dependent upon number of hours. Will accept up to two interns at the Eastside Club per semester, plus one intern at the Roosevelt and Southside Clubs. *** Spring, summer and fall semester internships available.
