Company Overview:Marketing for clients by developing and implementing online marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking web data; developing specific social media sites for clients; creating and maintaining promotional updates; planning meetings; maintaining online accounts, taking short videos and photographs for clients.
Responsibilities:Travel Required:Yes (self-provided) (Travel Expenses Reimbursed) Minimum Hours 10 per week Computer: Required Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing data; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars. • Attend meetings with clients’ staff and managers while taking notes and actively listening to the conversation, establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; taking short videos and photographs for clients; coordinating multiple company site visits. • To attend two weekly internal one hour staff meetings (one on campus, one off). • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases. • On an almost daily basis monitor and update clients’ social media accounts. • Monitor online accounts by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. • Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills/Qualifications: • Web Development, Target Market Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research Results, Understanding the Customer, Organization, Outgoing personality, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, Attention to Detail, Creativity and Writing Skills Social Media: • Familiarity with: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Yelp, Flickr, Google Places, Google+, Urbanspoon etc. Ideal Intern Commitment (in order of preference): 1) One year internship for credit 2) One year internship without credit 3) Summer – Fall semesters with credit 4) Summer – Fall semesters without credit 5) Summer with credit 6) Summer without credit
