Call for liberal education assessment panelists

The new liberal education program has an assessment plan based upon small panels of faculty who will guide and coordinate assessment for each Goal Area. If you are interested in serving on a Goal Area panel, please take a look at the application materials

• The Interim Associate Provost of Undergraduate Education sent a memo to the SCSU University Curriculum Committee Approving the Liberal Education Curriculum Proposals approved by UCC and ratified by the Faculty Asoociation during the 2010 Spring semester.
• A revised version of the SCSU Liberal Education Program was verbally approved in a meeting with MnSCU officials on 7/15/10. This version does not include Goal 11 Information Literacy and Technology and includes verbatim inclusion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum Goal Area names and descriptions along with SCSU objectives and student learning outcomes. Assessment will be based on these learning outcomes.
• The SCSU Liberal Education Program was approved by the Faculty Senate on 11/3/09.
