Study Abroad Programs
The St. Cloud State University (SCSU) Short Term Study Abroad
Program to China in the summer of 2006 was initiated as the
result of a collaborative effort between the SCSU Ethnic
Studies Department and the SCSU East Asian Studies Program
with a view to providing the opportunity to pursue studies
on site in China to those interested students who, for whatever
reason, are unable to enter into a more extended stay in
the country. The Faculty Directors were Drs. Dia Cha
and Jiping Zuo, and it is they who have taught the courses
associated with this program. A summary
of the trip highlights the courses included, the participants,
and the itinerary which captures stories, pictures and
experiences of the group.
Four St. Cloud State University
students who participated in the trip agreed to share their
journals and powerpoints completed as presentations to
share their experiences. Thank you
