Association of Nigerian Engineers in Minnesota (ANEM) Scholarship

The Association of Nigerian Engineers in Minnesota was established in 1981, to foster cooperation between businesses, schools and Nigerians both at home and in Minnesota. Also to contribute to Nigeria’s future development in areas of Industry, Environment, Transportation, Business Education, Communications, Health, Housing and Community Development.

Award Amount: at least $300

Criterion:

  1. The student must be a Nigerian citizen.
  2. The student must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.5
  3. The student must be registered in any one of the following fields of study:
    • Computing Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Engineering Technology
    • Computer Science
  4. The student must have at least sophomore standing at the beginning of the academic year for which the award is made.
  5. Transfer students who meet the undergraduate requirements for the scholarship and are transferring to SCSU at the sophomore level or above are eligible.
  6. Graduate students who possess an appropriate bachelor’s degree and are enrolled in an SCSU graduate program in engineering, scientific, or technical courses as full time students are eligible.
