Below is a link to all of the available academic resources at St. Cloud State University. These resources are all free to use. You should take advantage of these services to enhance your studies while you are here.
Here are a few places where you could do your community service hours. There are many other options where you could volunteer. You will just need to do a little searching. You can do your hours all in one activity or you could split up your hours in a few activities. Please keep track of your activities and hours and make sure you get all you paperwork turned in on time.
- IREX UGRAD- required 20 hours during your first academic semester
- IREX Pakistan- required 20 hours during your program
- World Learning UGRAD- 10 hours per academic semester
- World Learning Forecast- 20 hours
Department of Campus Evolvement: The Department of Campus Involvement's Civic Engagement Program is St. Cloud State University's community service center. Our mission is to provide students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, a sense of belonging, and civic responsibility through involvement in meaningful service. We strive to promote reciprocal service that benefits both the individual and the community.

Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity: Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity transforms families through affordable homeownership.
Boys & Girls Clubs:For the past 38 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota has provided hope and opportunity to tens of thousands of young people. Our programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Career Services: Explore career opportunities using an array of services, including counseling, on-campus interviews, resume assistance and expert advice. This office is a good place to start when looking for an internship.
Student Life and Development:Champions student needs and concerns via the student union, student-run arts and entertainment programming, Career Services, residence halls and more.
Campus Recreation:Participate in athletic, fitness and recreation activities, from aquatics to canoe trips to intramural sports. Enjoy year-round field sports on the turf at Husky Stadium.
Counseling and Psychological Services: CAPS is a department within the Division of Student Life and Development that helps undergraduate and graduate students cope more effectively with personal, mental health, and academic issues that arise in their lives.
We offer free and confidential personal counseling and consultation to promote personal development and psychological well-being and assist students in defining and meeting personal, academic, and career objectives.
