Logistics

Plan on warm clothing and boots since there will be a lot of standing, walking, and waiting in the field.

Cameras are great for the photo opportunities.

Advise bringing a box lunch and drink since the day will be long and there is nothing in the field.

Definitely a learning experience provided the students are willing to ask a lot of questions in addition to the briefings.

Websearch in advance relative to the black bear research would be helpful to prepare them for the experience.

When you arrive do not have winter clothing on since the first hour will be inside
