Hmong Night Volunteers Needed - April 6th

Hmong Night 2013 is a cultural event dedicated to educating and informing the community about the Hmong culture and arts.
It will take place on April 6th, from 6 pm - 9 pm. Doors will open at 5.
Student tickets cost $5, while tickets for others cost $7.
This year's theme is The Hmong-American Idenity and will focus on the experiences of a Hmong-American who lives and follows the American norms meanwhile trying to embrace and maintain the Hmong culture.
Hmong Night 2013 features a Viv Ncaus (Sisterhood of Hmong Women) Fundraiser and presents Mr. Bouachao Yang, the founder of the Hmong Student Organization (HSO), as its guest speaker. In addition, Hmong Night 2013 consists of performances by the members of HSO, a skit depicting the relationship between a traditional Hmong-American girl and a modernized Hmong-American boy, and a complimentary dinner.
