Our previous Tibetan menu is broadening to include other Himalayan specialties!
This year's main dish will include Ashom Tang (corn soup) and Kachoomer (fresh vegetable salad). Delicious Nepalese chickpea curry will be served on a bed of red rice with steamed kale. Add your own chilies and tsong lafu (pickled daikon) for heat! Enjoy chura (dried cheese) and tamarind chutney. For dessert, we will enjoy some Indian delicacies with the Tibetan favorite tsamba (roasted barley flour) and po cha (butter tea).
We are arranging for some kind of cultural experience as the evening's entertainment. Hopefully, we will have some SCSU students to share their homeland with you.
