Husky Hauler (All Student Move in Day)

Calling All Husky Haulers…

SCSU Residence Hall Move-In 2012

Once again, we are inviting individuals, groups, clubs, teams, fraternities/sororities, and student organizations to show their HUSKY PRIDE AND ENERGY by welcoming new students to SCSU as volunteers, to serve as HUSKY HAULERS on MOVE-IN DAY, Saturday, August 25, 2012, from 7am - 5pm. It is a great way to connect with new students and create a positive first impression of our campus, along with building community and support for SCSU and your department or program.

Last year 375 volunteers signed on to assist with unloading vehicles and helping students haul their belongings into their residence halls. Attached please find an individual application form for yourself and a group form for a student organization you might advise. This information is available online .

We are hoping to hear from you or those interested and available by August 1, 2012, so we can continue our planning for August 25!  Hard copies of this information were placed in student organization mailboxes in Atwood the week of April 4th.

Thank you so much for your past involvement and your anticipated future support and/or participation in the Husky Hauler program!
