Radioshack is a retailer of Green Dot prepaid Visa or Mastercard credit cards. No social security number required. Customers must pay $15 - $20, depending on which plan they choose, to activate a card without an SSN. There is a $5 fee each time you re-load the card with more money, and there is a $2 monthly fee. Customers can purchase and re-load the card with cash at Radioshack.

Wal-Mart sells the Wal-Mart MoneyCard prepaid Visa card. No social security number required, but you must be at least 18 years old to purchase this card. Customers pay a $10 fee to activate the card and must load the card with at least $20. There is a $5 fee to reload the card with more money. Customers can purchase and re-load the card with cash at Wal-Mart.

Affinity Plus Credit Union sells a pre-paid Visa gift card for $2.95 to current accountholders. Cards must be purchased for a value of at least $20. Custoemrs must hold an account with Affinity Plus to purchase this card, but no social security number is required.

Bank sells a pre-paid Visa gift card for free to accountholders and $4.95 to non-accountholders. Cards can be purchased for a value of at least $25. No social security number is required. Customers must have a valid driver’s license or passport to purchase the card.
