Country Specific Requirements for Academic Records
If the institution does not issue new original transcripts, a copy bearing an original stamp and signature by the school’s registrar attesting that it is an exact copy of the original will be accepted. Copies attested by a Notary will not be accepted.
All academic records should be sent directly by the issuing institution unless otherwise indicated. Literal English translations must accompany all academic records issued in a language other than English. DO NOT send only the English translation. We need the official academic record even if it is issued in another language.

There are two ways to obtain your official results depending upon if you took the KCSE exam BEFORE the year 2006 or 2006 and AFTER.
BEFORE 2006: To submit an official copy of your Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, please contact the Kenya National Examinations Council and make arrangements for the official copy to be sent directly to St. Cloud State University. The Council can be reached by email at exams@africaonline.co.ke, by phone at 254-2-337-144 or 254-2-226-884, or by fax at 254-2-226-032. The Council requires US$15.00 for every copy of the examination results issued abroad. This amount can be paid directly by wire transfer into account number 01040-740654-00, Kenya National Examination Council, c/o Standard Chartered Bank, Limited, Harambee Avenue Branch, P.O. Box 20036, Nairobi, Kenya. This cost is the responsibility of the applicant. Please direct the Council to forward your official copies to the Center for International Studies, St. Cloud State University, 720 Fourth Avenue South, St. Cloud, MN 56301-4498 USA. Your application for admission will not be considered complete until SCSU receives the official verification.
