You will need to obtain a scratch card for us to verify your West African Examination Council results.

How to Obtain a WAEC Scratch Card

In order for us to verify your results, you must provide us with the WAEC Scratch Card information.  If you do not supply it, your application will not be considered complete nor reviewed for admission.  Specifically, we need the WAEC Scratch Card serial number and PIN to directly verify your results.

What is a Scratch Card? A scratch card is a plastic card with a scratch patch on the reverse side that conceals a PIN required to access the WAECDIRECT service. The scratch card applicable for the WAECDIRECT service is marked "WAECDIRECT ……Access Card" on the face.

What is a PIN? The PIN stands for Personal Identification Number. In WAECDIRECT, it is a unique 12-digit number that is required to access the service. The service enables direct access to a candidate's results and also allow requests for result confirmation and verification. The PIN is found on a valid WAECDIRECT Scratch card and is revealed when cover patch on the reverse side of the card is carefully scratched off.

Where can I buy a Scratch Card? A Scratch card may be purchased at the National Office of WAEC and at any of its council offices across Ghana. From time to time it may become available at any other outlets so designated by WAEC.  A list of current locations can be found on http://ghana.waecdirect.org/outlets.htm.

Once you have obtained the WAEC Scratch Card, please email or fax us the PIN number and Serial number on the card to the Center for International Studies at email address int_admissions@stcloudstate.edu or fax number 320-308-4223.

Your application for admission will not be considered complete until we receive the official verification.
