Gluten Free: Is it for Me? (Part 1: Informative)

Description: Join us for Part 1 of 2 where we will discuss the medical component of celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity, who should follow a gluten-free diet, where gluten is found, and how to eat gluten free. Part 2 (March 18) will include meal planning and recipes.
Presenter: Hannah Hokanson is a Registered Dietitian with Sodexo at St. Cloud State University. She is passionate about being proactive in teaching the aspects and importance of health and nutrition. She graduated from the Mayo Clinic Dietetic Internship program in August 2012 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in May 2011 with a degree in Dietetics and minor in Health & Fitness.
Presenter: Dr. Brent Nielsen graduated in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Medical School at University of Minnesota and Family Practice residency in Chicago, IL. He was Student Health Services staff at Indiana University and University of Wisconsin prior to coming St. Cloud State University to accept the medical director position about seven years ago.
