What is a Husky Neighbor?
Husky Neighbors are St. Cloud State University students who live in the neighborhoods close to campus and facilitate community
building
among residents.

Foster & encourage communication among residents- Work with University staff and faculty to create and implement new and innovative approaches to building community in the neighborhoods
- Get to know the neighbors and disseminate University information such as upcoming campus events
- Plan activities that build community among neighborhood residents. This includes events such as House Party 101, a social event hosting guide
- Act as a resource for students and assist students with concerns such as understanding city ordinances, navigating the rental process, and University resources
- Create & implement marketing for Husky Neighbor program events
- Create & disseminate newsletters and establish an email list to facilitate communication within the community
