As an employee of St. Cloud State University, discounts are available for various products and services in the community as well as on campus. The following is a list of on and off campus benefits and discounts for university employees:

AT & T (formally Cingular) – SCSU employees are eligible to receive a discount when they take their SCSU ID card to an AT&T store and tell them the FAN# is 78797.

Home Stretch - The benefits to new homeowners are tremendous! With the Home Stretch program, everyone participating will gain useful knowledge they need for homeownership. Home Stretch consists of three classes, which are held over a three week time frame. Topics include the mortgage approval process, budget and credit issues, real estate, closing and basic home maintenance. Home Stretch topics will help participants understand a realistic house price based on income, mortgage, insurance rates, taxes and household expenses. ProCare - A total Eye Care Program: This discount program has been designed by Minnesota Vision Group and Peepers Distinctive Eyewear. SCSU Performing Arts Center - Faculty and staff can receive one free ticket to performances.
SCSU Sports Facilities and Campus Recreation - The Campus Recreation department offers a variety of recreational opportunities for students, faculty and staff. These opportunities include: over 40 intramural and special event activities, aerobics, ice activities, swimming, Nautilus and free weight training equipment, children's programs, instructional swimming programs, leadership course program, equipment resource center, fitness and sport clinics, and open free time for recreation. Note: Special discounts or offers made generically to "government employees" are generally not a violation of the Code of Ethics prohibition on gifts. Examples of a special discount would include "government rates" on hotels. Employees may generally take advantage of these offers, unless a conflict of interest is involved in that the work responsibilities of the state employee directly concern the private business that is making the offer.
