Probationary Periods/Evaluations for Classified Employees
New employees and employees who have been promoted to a different classification have a probationary period of a particular duration that varies across bargaining units (refer to your contract).
The probationary period consists of a mid probation evaluation and an ending probation evaluation. The Human Resources Office will coordinate this process.
Evaluations are required for the following:
- Mid probation evaluation
- End probation evaluation
- Salary step increase evaluation
- Annual evaluation
