Written Agreement
The Human Performance Laboratory and the business first meet to clarify the goals of the proposed research project. A written agreement is then drafted and typically specifies the:
- intent of the project and its specific goals
- project design that will accomplish the specified goals
- timetable of the project
- itemized budget
- confidentiality/dissemination terms*
* We routinely share our research findings with the scientific community in peer-reviewed journals and at annual meetings, thereby providing the business with an avenue for disseminating its scientific findings. In cases where confidentiality is required, only the business will be given access to the results.
