Facilities and Equipment
Other University Facilities
Research Facilities: As an Exercise Science graduate student, you can gain access to many other laboratory facilities on campus. Should your area of expertise overlap with the interests of faculty in other departments, these faculty in almost all cases are willing to work with you and share their laboratory space and equipment. Exercise Science graduate students have worked in the Human Cadaver, Radioisotope and Endocrinology Laboratories in Biology Department. In the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Departments, graduate students have worked in the Materials Testing, Machining and Electronic Design Laboratories.
Sport Facilities: Sport facilities available for thesis testing include a football/soccer stadium (domed and heated in the winter), two indoor Olympic hockey rinks, 25 yard indoor pool, 200 m indoor track, basketball courts, racquetball courts, weight rooms and a wellness center.
