Cheer on our Husky Athletes, attend fun Homecoming events, and earn Husky Spirit Points in a new competition that could lead your student organization or team of student friends to winning some GREAT prizes valuing over $1000 collectively through the first, second and third place prizes.
2009 SPIRIT POINT PRIZES:
1st Place:
- $300 Sodexo Credit
- Team will be hosted by the SCSU Administration
- Customized T-Shirts for the entire organization/team. (Up to a set dollar amount)
- Pizza Party in the Atwood UnderGround with unlimited game play
2nd Place:
- $150 Sodexo Credit
- Reserved Climbing Wall for the team
- Private film showing in Atwood Theatre with popcorn for the whole team (May see any film in Fall Film Series Line up)
3rd Place:
- $50 Sodexo Credit
- Copies Plus Package valued at $50
- Flash drives for each member of the team (up to 24 members)
Eligibility
Any SCSU Student can be a part of the Husky Spirit Point Competition. Here are some ways to become part of a team:
- Register as a student organization, residence hall floor, sports team, group of friends, sorority or fraternity, etc.
- Get your friends together and sign up a team; students that are not involved in student organizations are able to sign up on a team of at least five (5).
- Each student may register with only two (2) teams.

Register for Husky Spirit Point Competition
Earning Husky Spirit Points
- Points will be given to student teams as they attend events throughout Homecoming Week. Ultimately, these points will accumulate for the registered teams.
- Points will be tabulated on a daily basis and updated on the SCSU Homecoming website.
- Winners will be announced on Monday morning, October 12, 2009 via email to the entire campus.
- Prizes will be given based on the highest point total of the registered teams.
We hope that your student organization, club, fraternity/sorority, residence hall or group of friends will participate in this exciting endeavor as we move forward in building new traditions for SCSU’s Homecoming.
