Professional Experience: I spent two years working as a graduate assistant for St. Cloud State University Campus Recreation from 2007-2009. I then worked for two years at the University of Minnesota mainly with event and facility management with the Athletics Department. I had the opportunity to come back to St. Cloud State University in a variety of roles and to further my education.

Research Interests: Community involvement, campus involvement.

Professional Experience: Student taught middle school and high school students in Minneapolis and Sauk Rapids; helped facilitate Beijing and Shanghai English language summer institutes; was summer counselor for Advance Preparation Programs; coordinated study aboard programs associated with MSS.

Research Interests: Retention, recruitment, and student programs focused on student of colors.

Awards: SCSU Excellence in Leadership Award, Melin and Wallace Scholarship, and The Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship.

Professional Experience: Prior to my current position, I worked at St. Cloud State University (SCSU) in the School of Graduate Studies as an Admission Assistant. My experience in higher education also includes working for St. Cloud Technical & Community College (SCTCC) as a Marketing and Alumni Relations Director. In addition, I worked for SCTCC as a Scholarship and Database Coordinator.

Research Interests: Doctoral students’ persistence and degree attainment.
