In October 2015 two administrators and five doctoral students from the University of Macerata (UNIMC) in Macerata, Italy spent one week at St. Cloud State University on an education abroad trip. During the trip the doctoral students interned in a variety of SCSU campus offices, attended workshops and conferences, and participated in lectures and classes. The administrators, Vice-Rector Paola Nicolini and Doctoressa Elisa Attili gave a lecture for the campus community, worked with fellow SCSU administrators, and supervised their students. This was the fourth trip to SCSU for UNIMC. The HIED program sends graduate and doctoral students to UNIMC each May for education abroad.
