Services
The clinic provides general medical care including diagnosis
and treatment of illnesses and injuries. Appointments can
be made with either physicians or nurse practitioners.
- Diagnosis and treatment of illness and
injury
- Diagnostic laboratory tests
- Pelvic exams, Pap smears, contraceptives,
pregnancy testing
- Physical exams for employment, athletics, etc.
- Testing for sexually transmitted diseases
- Immunizations, allergy injections
- Travel abroad (out of country) consults
Cost
Our charges for office visits, lab work, prescriptions and
special procedures are very reasonable and usually less than
community clinics.
Confidential Medical Records
Records are maintained on each student/patient. All information
is confidential and can be released with written permission
only. Records are retained for seven years from the last
date of care and are then destroyed by incineration.
Notice of Privacy Practices
Referrals
If consultation with a medical specialist is needed, patients
will be referred to a specialist either in St. Cloud or in
your hometown area, depending on your medical needs.
Who can use the services?
Currently enrolled students can use all services. Having
medical insurance is not a prerequisite to using the on-campus
Health Services. Health Services is available to any student
regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion,
or ethnicity.
