Services

Services provided by Alcohol/Drug Educator include prevention and intervention-oriented activities. Prevention programs consist of activities designed for education and increased awareness. Intervention strategies include assessment and referral when a problem with alcohol/drugs exists.


ALCOHOL EDUCATION CLASS

WHAT is it? A class for people who violate university policies regarding alcohol and other drugs.
WHEN is it? Classes held 1-2 times a week
WHERE is it? TBA
HOW much does it cost? $50.00 - Level 1 and $75.00 - Level 2
SIGN UP at Health Services Programs Desk in Hill Hall 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Your privacy rights are strictly protected by federal law. No records or other information are released by A.D.A.P.T. without prior written permission.


ASSESSMENT

What is it? Basically a confidential interview to determine a persons involvement with alcohol/drugs.
Why would I want one? Some legal offenses such as DUI mandate an assessment. Some students just want to gain more information about themselves.
How much does it cost? Currently we do NOT offer court ordered assessments on campus
Where do I go? Health Service Programs Desk in Hill Hall or call 308-4850 and we will give you some contact information about where you can get an assessment in the community.
