Liberal Education Program Checklist (Beginning Fall 2010) (web link)
Students following the Liberal Education program must complete all ten goal areas as designated and achieve a total of at least 40 credits. Use the link provided to locate a list of current Liberal Education courses.
NOTE: Students admitted to SCSU Summer 2009-Summer 2010 should continue to follow the MNTC General Education program, but should choose classes from the Liberal Education course list to fulfill the remaining requirements. Questions about the MNTC General Education program should be directed to a Pre-Business Advisor.
Business Core Communication Requirement (pdf)
The Communication Core Requirement can be completed either before or after being admitted to a major. The list of allowable courses changes from time to time. Check with Undergraduate Programs/Pre-Business Advising Office for the most recently updated list.
Business Course Transfer Request Form (pdf)
If a student feels, after reviewing their transfer evaluation, that a class placed in the university electives should be equivalent to a SCSU class, the student needs to complete the Request to Transfer in a Business Course to SCSU, provide the necessary documentation listed on the request form, and submit the information to the appropriate department.
U.Select Instruction Guide (pdf)
U.Select is a multi-state, web-based transfer information system that provides transfer students with fast and accurate course and credit information. The guide provides instructions to access commonly used U.Select features. It is recommended that students planning to transfer courses within the MNSCU system consult the U.Select website for transfer equivalencies.
Late Withdrawal Form (pdf)
A late withdrawal is a request to withdraw from a class after the published withdrawal deadline and is considered only for extenuating circumstances. Typically, requests must be submitted no later than one calendar year from the last day of the semester of occurrence.
