Once you have decided on the semester that you want to work, there are several steps which must be taken at least one semester prior:
- You need to start a file in the Internship Office. This consists of a completed Application Form.
- Email a copy of your resume to the Internship Office
- You need to load your resume' on the SCSUCareers.com portion of the Career Services web page. Once you load the resume', you can "publish" it to the appropriate electronic resume' books.
We are attempting to have all work experiences posted on the Career Services web site - either through SCSUCareers.com, or on InternPost. You should be checking these weekly once you load your resume. This is where most permanent jobs will be listed and is the site you will be using when looking for permanent employment upon graduation. Even if you find your own internship, you should be acquainted with the way this web site works.
