Professor Alex Polacco awarded APICS Student Chapter Mentor Award

Professor of Management Alex Polacco was awarded the APICS Student Chapter Mentor Award at the 2013 APICS International Conference on September 28, 2013. The award honors an operations and supply chain management professional who has positively affected the lives of students and shown a commitment to the APICS vision. Through the award, APICS recognizes the unequaled dedication necessary to be a successful and influential role model.
The Corporate Committee selects the awardee from among nominations from over 250 chapters worldwide. Nominees must be current and demonstrate superior leadership and innovation in mentoring; student chapter, local chapter, district, and national contributions; and community service.
