On January 15, 2013, the completed course mapping for the Information Assurance Courseware Evaluation (IACE) program was submitted to the National IA Education and Training Program (NIETP) for review.  Over 400 elements in two national standards, NSTISSI 4011 and CNSSI 4016, were mapped to fourteen courses at SCSU.  After review and approval by NIETP of the course mapping, SCSU will be able to reapply for certification as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAE/IAE), a designation it has held since 2009.
