On Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Richard Murphy, Jr., will be speaking in the Cascade Room of Atwood Memorial Center on sustainable business practices in his company. Students and faculty members are invited to attend.

Richard Murphy, Jr., is a 4th generation CEO of Murphy Warehouse Company (MWC) in the Twin Cities. Over the past several years, Mr. Murphy has implemented numerous "green"/sustainable projects across his warehouse and transportation facilities that have produced significant benefits to his company. In 2010, two of MWC's facilities were awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification at the Gold level.
