SCSU Distinguished Thesis Award Recipient

The School of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce John Anthony Byczynski as the 2011-12 recipient of the St. Cloud State University Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award. Mr. Byczynski is a 2011 graduate with an M.A. in Public History. His work, “Claiming the Mines: Power and Class on the Cuyuna Iron Range, 1910-1933”, is an insightful, and admirable project, which represents the best of SCSU. The School of Graduate Studies congratulates Mr. Byczynski and his chair, Dr. Mary Wingerd, Professor of History and his committee members, Dr. Robert Galler and Dr. Stephen Philion, on this award.
