E-mail

Every new student at St. Cloud State University is issued a HuskyNet E-mail account. The HuskyNet E-mail account is the official method of communication from SCSU. Students will receive all SCSU information regarding important topics such as registration, financial aid, and campus security, as well as messages from instructors through the HuskyNet account only. The HuskyNet account is a student and instructor E-mail account that is accessed through the SCSU Web site. Each HuskyNet account is included in the global address book of the University.

It is the student's responsibility to activate their HuskyNet E-mail account and check it regularly for important messages.

First-time users will need to activate their HuskyNet IDs prior to use. Your HuskyNet ID provides access to your E-mail as well as other technology services at SCSU (such as online library access). To activate:

• Go to the SCSU Web site at www.stcloudstate.edu.
• On the left side of the page, click the icon that says, “HUSKYNET/Check E-mail”.
• On the left side of the page, click on the icon that says, “Activate Your HuskyNet ID!”
• Next you will complete a four-step process to activate your HuskyNetID.
• NOTE: You must have obtained your student ID card in order to complete this step!
