Graduate Assistant in Affirmative Action

Salary:$5,000.00 for the academic year
In addition to the salary/stipend, both full-time and part-time graduate assistants are eligible for partial tuition remission based on appointment type.
Under the direction of the Equity and Affirmative Action Officer (EAAO) and the Office Manager, the Graduate Assistant will be instrumental in the further development of following areas: Active engagement with Title IX Coordinator and Deputies, working on research and policy Some Data/Statistical reporting: Continued work on standardizing forms of reporting for the department utilizing advanced computer program features within Maxient, Access, Excel, and other data programs Possible survey development and implementation Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while involved with this office Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree in a related field (liberal arts, social sciences, education, management) Graduate must be fully admitted to a graduate degree program and eligible for employment Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate initiative and follow through Demonstrated ability of strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with computer/technical proficiency (Maxient, D2L, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Prezi, etc.) Experience working in Student Life & Development or enrolled in the Social Responsibility Master�s Program
