In addition to the salary/stipend, both full-time and part-time graduate assistants are eligible for partial tuition remission based on appointment type.
Assist an Information Specialist and the CMLE Director in providing library support services to the staff in 319 libraries in 12 counties of Central Minnesota. CMLE provides access to resources that fill the needs of library/ K-12, school media center staff; convene and bridge library staff around common issues, and provide strategies and services that help academic, public and special libraries, and school media centers stretch their budgets. •Solid writing skills to be potentially used across multiple venues including subject guides, events, blogs, online tutorials, contests, book clubs, and other special projects. •Interest and aptitude in the professional use of social media, online tools, apps, and other strategies to gauge and respond to regional needs •Comfort with advanced uses of Microsoft Office products •Comfort and ability to conducting interviews, and/or write up results for online publication. •Must be detail oriented, yet understand and value the big picture.
