20 Hours a weekIn addition to the salary/stipend, both full-time and part-time graduate assistants are eligible for partial tuition remission based on appointment type.
This position requires twenty hours a week teaching on the Science Express including prep time. Responsibilities include both assisting students with activities and leading the activity as appropriate. - Help with setup of labs - Guide students individually and in groups in the execution of lab activities - Help in preparation of written lab documentation - Lead activity presentation (includes lecture and demonstration) - Help with lab clean-up - Help with trailer set up, breakdown and moving
Teaching ability and experience with early elementary children Energetic, interactive personality capable of engaging students from a wide range of backgrounds Ability to adjust teaching styles to students of different ages and abilities
