Graduate Assistantship in Academic Learning Center (ALC)

In addition to the salary/stipend, both full-time and part-time graduate assistants are eligible for partial tuition remission based on appointment type.
The duties and responsibilities involve: 1. Assisting with instruction and testing in the classroom for study strategies courses. 2. Assisting with tutoring center and tutor training. 3. Assisting with tutoring ALC students. 4. Assisting in the ALC computer lab. 5. Supervising student work-study students in the ALC. 6. Providing study strategy assistance for students. 7. Giving outreach presentations to classes, residence halls, etc. 8. Assisting with assessment and reports for the ALC. Although most working hours will occur during the weekday, graduate assistants must be available some evenings and weekends for occasional outreach and training.
The successful candidate must be admitted to a graduate program at St. Cloud State University prior to appointment date.
