Congratulations on being accepted to the School of Graduate Studies at SCSU!

Now that you have been accepted you may be asking what is next. This site will provide you with the information necessary to reach your goals.

Have you activated your StarID?

Once activated, you can use your StarID and password for your student email, D2L Brightspace, HuskyNet, and everywhere that StarID is accepted in the MnSCU system.

Make sure you have your SCSU Student ID number handy before you begin the activation process. The Student ID is located on your acceptance letter.

All New Graduate Student Orientation

Graduate students are encouraged to participate in the graduate student orientation session on Wednesday, August 17 and invited to participate in the other events occurring in conjunction with the First Four Days campus orientation.

Time: 3:45pm-6:30pm
Location: Miller Center 122

School of Graduate Studies Orientation to be followed by a reception for new graduate students and faculty (5:30-6:30).

Free Parking is available from 3:30-7:00 pm in the AA and C Parking lots. Pay parking is available in the Miller Center lot and the Parking ramp.

Open Houses

Date: Thursday, August 18th
Time: 1:00- 4:00 pm
Location: St. Cloud State Campus

Offices from around campus will be open and welcoming new students and their families. Check into 5 or more offices and be entered into a drawing to win prizes!

2:00pm-3:00 pm English language written test for those required to test.

Required for new international graduate students in programs located at the Twin Cities Center.
