GLBT Services will be hosting
Tuesday’s Queer Film Series during spring semester. Films are free and open to
the public! They will be shown in Atwood Little Theatre at 7 p.m.

Summit
The
Gender Youth Network is hosting “Bridge the Gap 2007 Leadership Summit” May
17-19th in Washington, D.C. It is an action orientated gathering of
youth and students organizing around gender as a fundamental human right. Take

invites students, faculty, and staff to volunteer and contribute in presenting,
planning events, and more. Let us know
if you are interested in being part of our safe space office. We are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to
be in the center for any amount of time throughout the week to welcome any
students, faculty, or staff who may come in.
Vagina Monologues production is looking for individuals to direct,
act, and help put on February’s production. If interested in any way, please

Research Volunteer Opportunities
College experience research on the student experiences for LGBTQ
students on college campuses. Ph.D. students are seeking participants to share
their positive or negative experiences during college that could have
implications for how college administrators might better serve LGBTQ students.

Outloud! is an
activist-oriented group responsible for planning Out Proud Week and other
attention-grabbing events. It is a student organization whose theme is to build

community-building model with social programming to bring gay and bisexual men

Feminism, Sexuality, and the Return of Religion
Conference

Transgender Studies and Feminism: Theory, Politics, and Gendered
Realities
Journal of Feminist Philosophy is calling for papers
that investigate the relations between feminism and transgender studies,
exploring the intersections of multiple oppressions are especially welcome.

Services has a growing media library that consists of fiction and reference
books & video resources and is available to students, faculty and
staff. We offer literature and videos on a range of topics: coming out,
gay marriage, the gay/lesbian movement, trans concerns, bisexuality, etc.
