Masters in Gerontology (M.S.)

The Master's degree is for those who have completed a Bachelor's degree and want to further their career opportunities. It prepares graduates to assume professional leadership roles in the planning, administration, and delivery of services to older people, as well as to deliver training and instruction to service providers. The M.S. is a 34-36 credit interdisciplinary degree. Thesis and non-thesis options are available.

Gerontology Graduate Certificate

The Graduate Certificate is for those who already have or are working toward a Master's or professional degree. It recognizes specialized training in aging studies and provides knowledge which can be utilized across many professions and settings. The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology at SCSU is a 12-15 credit interdisciplinary program.
