The 2010 Minnesota State National Geographic Bee Final Round Moderator is KARE 11 TV’s Allen Costantini
After an award-winning career in New York and overseas, Allen Costantini joined KARE 11 in 1984. He has won national and regional awards, includingseven Emmys, and was named "Best Local Reporter" by City Pages.
From 1999-2006, Allen was the Scholarships Chair of the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences/Upper Midwest Chapter. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from State University of New York in Buffalo, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1971. Allen is also currently in charge of the KARE 11 News internship program
