Welcome to First Year Experience!
Making the transition from high school to college is an exciting and challenging time in your life. St. Cloud State recognizes that a positive, engaging first year experience can make a significant impact in terms of incoming students’ level of satisfaction, academic performance, campus involvement and progress toward graduation.
For 2011-12, the First Year Experience program—commonly known as “FYE”—will offer a Common Reading Program for all first-year students and a variety of Learning Communities designed to support first year students in making vital connections and a successful transition to university life.
