Life-income Plans

  • Gift Annuities: The simplest of our life-income plans, we guarantee to pay a fixed amount each year to you and/or another beneficiary in exchange for a transfer of cash or marketable securities.
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts: This popular option allows for financial and estate-planning flexibility.

Gifts of Retirement Assets

Retirement assets can present a very attractive option for a planned gift. Simply name SCSU as a designated beneficiary of all or part of the retirement asset.

Deferred Gifts

  • Real Estate with Retained Life Interest: Continue to live in your home or operate your farm without disruption when you choose this option.
  • Life Insurance: Generate an income-tax deduction with a gift of your paid-up, loan-free policy.
  • Bequests: Give in ways you may not be able to during your lifetime – and significantly reduce your estate’s tax burden.
  • Charitable Lead Trust: This option provides for a gift of payments from assets to St. Cloud State for a period of time – and then the property passes on to whomever you designate.
