The St. Cloud State University Foundation was formed in 1958 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization to provide a means for alumni, friends and corporations to make tax deductible contributions in support of the University. The Foundation operates on a July 1 fiscal year.
The St. Cloud State University Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Trustees whose operating structure is set forth in its by-laws. The Board consists of Officers and Committee Chairs who comprise the Executive Committee and the general membership of the Board.
Foundation staff are employees of St. Cloud State University and work in gift administration, database planning, finance and accounting, alumni relations and annual and major giving. Staff are committed to working with donors in fulfilling their philanthropic passion in accordance with the Foundation gift acceptance policy and all applicable state and federal laws.
