Crowdfunding at St. Cloud State University
St. Cloud State University has launched a Crowdfunding platform to enable individual units across campus to engage in peer-to-peer fundraising to support the mission of SCSU. The platform is designed to support specific projects with an immediate funding need.
Getting Started with Your Campaign
In order to start a project on this platform, the Foundation has established a series of guidelines and an application process:
- We strongly encourage anyone interested in use of the Crowdfunding platform to begin their planning at least 6-8 weeks before the desired launch of the project.
- Download the Crowdfunding Checklist/Application (pdf)
- Send the Completed Application to Josh M. Lease, Director of Annual Giving

All projects must meet Foundation rules for use of funds, and must be in support of the university, its mission, and its students.
